I am a Physiology major at Brigham Young University, studying to become a dental hygienist and I am so excited to share my love of learning with you! I feel confident working with students and have had experience with tutoring in peer mentor formats and in teaching English to native Italian speakers while living in Italy. I have a passion for the sciences, specifically advanced biology, physiology, and human anatomy but am confident teaching almost all subjects for students K-10 grade. In line with the Demonstrator teaching style, my goal is to create an engaging and interactive environment that is adaptive to the student and their needs. After all, the goal is to help the individual student not simply to teach a lesson plan.

Beyond academics, I enjoy teaching swimming lessons in the summer, fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere for children. Sports have always been a big part of my life, basketball being my favorite. I love to hike, play the piano, bake, and spend time with my family. I love all things Italian: pasta, fashion, architecture… after living there and learning Italian! I'm so excited to meet you and to help reach your learning goals!
