I've worked with learners of all ages, backgrounds, beliefs, and learning styles through my 12 years teaching public and private school.

Before I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary English at Mercer University in 2011, I spent a few years substitute teaching around metro Atlanta, but I've officially taught grades 5-8, 11, and 12 in and around Atlanta, Georgia.

I began as a high school English teacher for grades 11 and 12. As a middle school teacher I've taught English language arts, writing, Georgia geography, American history, world geography and history, and ancient civilizations.

We will practice at your pace by setting goals for your performance- just like a sports coach would guide you. What do you want to be able to do? How will we achieve this goal? The answers come from YOU. Together, we will improve your skills in whatever area needs some strengthening, and we'll make progress together.

I love crafting: knitting, crocheting, sewing, painting, etc. My partner and I live in Atlanta and enjoy walking on the Beltline, visiting the High Museum, and exploring historical sites and parks.
