Hello! I was a teacher for almost 6 years before I went back to school to pursue my PhD. I taught varying subjects such as Earth systems, environmental science, and physics. I am very understanding when it comes to online learning as I had to accommodate for it for over 2 years when I was teaching at a high school. I have taught middle school and high school students, but I am more than capable of helping with any science class that you or your student may be having trouble with! I have my bachelors degree in science education from Auburn University, my masters degree in secondary education with a literacy badge from Georgia Southern University, and I am now pursuing my PhD in science Education at Auburn University starting this fall! I love working with students who will converse with me about their class and help me understand why they might be having trouble understanding the content. I try to present material in a different way than a classical teacher might so that students are able to see it from a different approach.
