I believe that knowledge is a gift and gifts are best shared. I am in continual pursuit of acquiring new knowledge as well as sharing that which I have. Over the past eleven years, I have had the benefit of teaching a diverse group of students both in age and in ability. I attended UNCW as an undergrad where I studied communications and middle school education. I am licensed both in general and special education and have taught both English language arts and mathematics. I enjoy teaching each but do have a particular fondness for English and literature. I know that education is the key to unlocking opportunities that we face today and those that we haven't even imagined in our tomorrow.

I am a book and movie buff. I love to challenge myself physically and can be found in the gym most days. I am also a stage actor and director, having been involved with several theater companies over the years.
