My goal as a tutor is to enable students to understand and learn the subjects of chemistry, mathematics, biology, and physics. I achieve this by using an interactive step by step approach to learning, working with the student, answering questions as we go along, rather than just lecturing. This interactive step by step approach works well for learning how to do calculations and understanding concepts. My qualifications include two Bachelor of Science Degrees from Arizona State University and I have over 2000 hours private tutoring experience. My hobbies include stamp collecting, coin collecting, hiking and scuba diving. In scuba diving, one is able to observe chemistry and physics principles in real life, such as the inverse proportionality of gas pressure and volume (Boyle's Law) which governs the rules of diving. Also, one is able to observe first hand the ecological diversity of aquatic life in the vast ocean and sea world.
