Certified Tutor

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a Concentration in K-3 and a component in Special Education at the University of Puerto Rico Humacao campus. After graduation, I took the necessary courses to become certified as a K-12 Special Education Teacher. Complete a Postgraduate Certificate at the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, in Linguistics Applied to Spanish as a Mother Language. Then I took the necessary courses to be able to certify myself as a teacher of Spanish at the Secondary level. I am currently completing a Masters in Special Education at Cambridge College.

I have 18 years of experience as a teacher. I have worked as an elementary level teacher teaching the subjects of Spanish, Mathematics, Science and History. I have worked as a full-time Special Education teacher in an autism classroom. In addition, I have served as a resource room teacher providing support in the areas of Spanish, Math, and Transition skills to adult life. I am an enterprising, dynamic and creative person. I am passionate about my work, I like to educate and help others.
