Native English-speaker with a BA in Spanish, a minor in German and a certificate for Spanish translation and interpretation from Wichita State University.

While earning my degree, I worked on campus as a Spanish and German tutor, which was one of the most rewarding parts of my college experience. I originally intended to pursue only translation work, but after a couple of years at it, I started to explore other options and came back to tutoring. At the end of the day, I've found that I like it a lot more than translation work!

When it comes to working with students, I have infinite patience. As someone who's always had a hard time with math, it's not difficult for me to empathize when people are struggling with difficult concepts. Education has been a vital and uplifting part of my life, and I am truly privileged to be able to work in the field.

In addition to my primary subjects (Spanish, all levels; Elementary German; English, all levels; Study Skills and Organization, all levels), I also enjoy studying other languages (including Russian, Ancient Greek, and Old English), creative writing, reading, philosophy, history, playing the ocarina, video games, and knitting.
