I am a rising junior at Tufts University, where I am receiving a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science. I have worked for my local elementary school, created bootcamps for students with classmates, and took on many students in my own time. As such, I have worked as a tutor in both private and group settings for students from all walks of life, whether it be editing college essays or navigating common core math with third-grade students. However, I do have a preference for teaching students privately, as I believe everyone learns in a different manner and different pace. As a result, I am always adapting the way I explain concepts to play to the student's strengths and contextualize the information in a way that is easily understood by them. I am most passionate about Computer Programming, English, and Math. I also went through extensive standardized testing training, and find that helping students see a numeric improvement in their standardized testing score is uniquely rewarding!
