I am a graduate of Texas A&M University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Ecology. I also attended Dallas Baptist University and graduated with a degree in Educational Leadership. I have taught may science subjects including 5th grade, 7th grade, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and AP Environmental Science. Additionally, I have taught elementary gifted and talented and helped prepare high school students for the SAT, ACT, and PSAT while serving as the Advanced Academic Coordinator. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for Standardized Tests, we create breakthrough moments that help us both become better teachers and learners.. I am a firm proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life, and I try to impart this appreciation to all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, yoga, running, working in the yard, and spending time with my family.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending time with my three kids, ages 21, 19, and 16. My husband and I are graduates of Texas A&M University, and love attending Aggie functions. We also spend summers at the lake or in our backyard working in the flowerbeds or swimming.
