I am a graduate of The University of West Alabama and Southern Mississippi. I have received my Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Masters of Criminal Justice, Masters of Education, and Educational Specialist Degree. I am currently a Doctoral student in Education Leadership. I am also a Certified Addictions Counselor. I currently am the Lead Special Education Teacher in my School System. I am also the Head Girls Basketball and Soccer Coach. I currently teach all Sciences, US History and Economics. I also conduct trainings and seminars for for Substance Abuse and Counseling professionals. I have taught at the middle school, high school, and college level. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Science and History. I also have experience in SAT and ACT prep, as well as helping professionals prepare for certification assessments. My teaching philosophy is to always set very high expectations for students as it relate to academic and social goals; commit to creating an engaging, standards-based classroom and encourage students to construct and understanding of educational concepts and its relation to everyday life. I will commit to creating an engaging, standards-based classroom where I will encourage students to have a 100% understanding of all educational concepts. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing and watching basketball, soccer, RVing, and hitting the road on my motorcycle.
