I am a graduate of the University of Dubuque. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology. I also received my Master of Arts in Missions & Discipleship with a focus on youth and young adults from the University of Dubuque Theological Seminary. While there as a graduate assistant, I taught a class for three semesters.
I've mentored at-risk youth as well as tutored K-12.

I love teaching because it's so rewarding to see students succeed, get excited about, and conquer subjects they used to struggle with, hate, or feel defeated by. I also love the problem solving involved in to work with students in finding new ways to help them learn based on their individual needs so they understand themselves better.
