I am currently enrolled at the University of North Carolina of Greensboro. I am majoring in math middle school education. I think it is really important to help students find the most successful way to learn and understand the content. Additionally, I motivate students to do their best and encourage them to be confident in their knowledge. I have worked with students in math classrooms individually to help reexplain information. I have worked with students with learning difficulties and have truly enjoyed helping them figure out their brains. I am passionate about teaching math in a creative way that keeps students intrigued. Having ADHD myself, I have figured out ways to learn effectively and I bring these techniques to students with similar situations. I tutor a range of math subjects. This includes the praxis mathcore test. I want to help students have less test anxiety and to deeply understand what they are being tested on. My tutoring style is personal because I want to find the specific ways that each student learns best. . My other interests include yoga, fitness, art, music, and travel.
