I am a State Certified K-5 Elementary Education teacher who graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA in English. I am also an experienced and committed educator who believes in the success of all students at all levels. My experiences have been diverse, including teaching struggling learners to decode words and read, while using intervention strategies guided by assessments. In addition, I have taught advanced readers to achieve higher standards in comprehension and writing. My professional tutoring background has been at the middle, high school and collegiate level for proofreading and editing papers. I am focused on delivering differentiated academic instruction while nurturing the social and emotional needs of all students.

While my primary experience has been at the academic level, I have also trained others to use technology such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Zoom platform.

As a lifelong learner, I truly do believe that communication, commitment and compassion is key to academic success for all learners at all levels.
