As a 17-year language teacher I have always found passion and excitement in helping students learn. From elementary to high school, I see the potential in all youth. I believe languages open up a whole possibility of new experience both at home and abroad.
I studied at the University of Miami with a BA in Biology and received my teaching license from George Mason University in VA.
I enjoy using a variety of techniques in teaching students and love to bring out enthusiasm and full potential through an environment that is fun and engaging.
As a heritage Spanish speaker, it is my ultimate passion to not only teach this language but to also immerse my students in an authentic cultural experience.

Outside of teaching I am a huge fútbol mom and my family and I are always on the soccer fields. Both of my daughters play on national level soccer teams. When I am not on the soccer field you can find me training for triathlon sprints. I am also a huge Disney fan and we go to Disney World at least once a year.
