I am currently a rising Junior Math and Math Education Major at Wingate University. I am also a collegiate swimmer at Wingate.

I believe that a student can master his or her math concepts best if the student's work is presented in basic steps. I like to demonstrate the steps and ask the student to repeat the process of solving the math problems back to me. I then am able to find any learning gaps or misunderstandings of the applicable math concepts.

I am a firm believer in good time management skills. Helping a student develop good study habits, while also being able to take part in their various extracurricular activities will help provide a healthy balance for the student.
