I am a graduate student at Boston College receiving a Masters in Theology & Ministry. I am also a graduate of Tulane University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Italian as well as a Classics minor. During my final year at Tulane, I was hired as an Italian tutor where I worked with freshman and sophomore students. Since graduation, I have been working as an AmeriCorps member as a part of City Year, where I tutor 5th grade students who are especially behind in reading and math. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Italian, French, History, and Admissions Essays. My teaching philosophy is centered around intrinsic motivation, believing that the best results come when we are genuinely interested in exploring our curiosity, building our intellect, and expanding our creativity. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, yoga, laughing with friends and family, and walks in nature.
