A dedicated Educational Professional with over 10 years of classroom experience. I received my Masters Degree at State University of New York at Stony Brook. I taught Social Studies and various electives in High Schools across the boroughs in NYC.

I find Social Sciences to be extremely interesting. I enjoy looking at History through different lenses and enjoy working with students and examining different historical personalities and popular names/leaders of time periods. I am passionate about tying in the past with occurrences of present day ..especially in pop culture.

I strive to build students confidence as well as entertain student interests further with fact based information about the culture, country, time period we are studying.

I am a mom of a 2 years old. Currently we are into Dinosaurs, Eggs and Silly Putty. I enjoy running and training for races. My favorite sport is Boxing and you will often catch me on the treadmill watching my favorite boxer Manny Pacquiao ( helps not think so much about how far or fast you have run). I am a trained classical Indian dancer and enjoy watching and studying new musical artists. I LOVE FESTIVALS and CONCERTS (Especially EDC)
