The primary subject that I teach and tutor is Public Speaking. This is my favorite to introduce and guide a student through what can be a pretty intimidating subject to tackle.

To introduce a student to their voice and the power that their voice has in its ability to carry them through life is my goal. By using body language, self-awareness, confidence building, proper grammar, these are a few of the things I will lead your student in.

My teaching style is purely based on communication. I want to help the student identify what they would like to gain from my class and talk about how to achieve it together. I am an open conversationalist and a teacher who wants to listen. This class takes teamwork within the class and self-motivation from the student.

I am a homeschool mom of two boys ages 14 and 16. Together we love being outdoors discovering the urban trails of our hometown. To be on the water is a love of mine with kayaking as my pure joy away from home.

I have taught and worked in the public school system and have taught Public Speaking in our homeschool community for the past two years.

I am a student myself and currently am working towards my Master's Degree in Social Work. It's never to early or late to learn. I'm passionate about doing it alongside my students.
