I am a graduate of Stockton University, where I received a Bachelor of Science in Health Science, and completed a minor in Dance. In May 2021, I will begin the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Thomas Jefferson University. Although my future career is science-focused, I believe that strong reading comprehension and writing skills are important for student success across all levels and disciplines. During my semester abroad in Costa Rica, I volunteered with an English teacher at a local elementary school, helping 3rd and 5th graders with English grammar and sentence writing. Throughout my educational career, I have had experience with numerous writing modes, such as personal narratives, argumentative essays, lab reports, scientific literature reviews, resumes/cover letters, and college/graduate school admissions essays. I have almost 4 years of experience mentoring prospective college students, helping them throughout the college admissions and orientation processes. During my free time, you can find me listening to podcasts, writing in my journal, dancing in my room, or watching cooking shows.
