I am a current college student at the University of Arkansas majoring in Social Studies Education. During my time in college, I have had the privilege of working in secondary classrooms for students with intellectual disabilities, as well as the opportunity to mentor elementary students. Along with my experience, my major focus is in Social Studies content, making world history and writing my favorite subjects to tutor in. Though my content focus is primarily in Social Studies, I am able to tutor in a variety of subjects such as core reading, math, and writing skills. Incorporating the values of diversity through education is at the core of my teaching philosophy. Because of this, I enjoy finding creative ways to accommodate the unique needs of each and everyone of my students. During my spare time, I enjoy photography, traveling, and spending time with my rescue puppy Stella!
