I received my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2016. Since then, I have been a process engineer at a major oil and gas company in the Houston, TX area. As a chemical engineer, I have extensive experience with developing heat/material balances, troubleshooting and optimizing heat and mass transfer equipment, and using process simulation software.
Outside of chemical engineering-specific areas, I am able to tutor in most math, chemistry, and physics subjects at levels from middle school through college. I can also provide tutoring in some SAT and SAT 2 subject tests. My favorite subject to tutor is math. I have loved math for as long as I can remember. To me, solving a math problem is like solving any other problem in life - you combine the information you are given, assumptions you can make, and your expertise and prior knowledge to derive a conclusion. I appreciate being able to help students develop these types problem solving skills through math because of how applicable they are to non-math scenarios.
