Certified Tutor

I am currently working toward my bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. During my time as an Electrical Engineering student, I have tutored my peers and have helped students in their academic endeavors in Junior High and High School. These experiences have shown me how much I enjoy helping people and helping to spark the interest in learning that I myself feel for academia.
When it comes to teaching and tutoring I do not believe in lecturing to a student. I believe in an open-discussion that provokes critical thinking. My teaching style is open-minded and very much a discussion with the student rather than a lecture. I have found that allowing someone to solve a problem/puzzle with some assistance and guidance leads to better knowledge retention.
