Hi, my name is Sofie, and I'm a rising second year student in Georgetown University's Master of Science in Foreign Service program. I am looking forward to working with students on the Varsity Tutors platform!

I graduated from Northwestern University in 2019 with a major in History and minors in German and Environmental Policy & Culture. I recently completed a Fulbright English Teaching Scholarship in Germany, where I taught at an upper high school and vocational school. I worked with students on English grammar and writing, and held weekly conversational groups.

Prior teaching experiences includes tutoring in math and reading with Apex Elite in Chicago, teaching horseback riding and horse science classes at a summer camp, and participating in College Mentors for Kids.

I enjoy keeping up with current events, sports, and news stories and like to talk about them with other people!

I look forward to working with students interested in languages, writing, civics, and history.
