As an Honors College student at the University of Oregon pursuing an anthropology degree and a future at a dental school, the people I accredit for my success are the mentors and peers. They had believed in me, even when I had just moved from Korea and could not speak a word of English. They showed me I could be the person I am now, and showed me how to reach higher with a humble attitude. I strive to be such a tutor to be the first to believe in the student before I teach them. I have worked with students ranging from seven years old to adult peers. The lessons I lead will be aligned to the needs and the motivation of the student, so they can learn their own tools to overcome any future challenges.
On my own time, I am a singer in two university choirs, I practice martial arts, and study for my classes. I am looking forward to working and growing with all my students!
