As a former high school teacher my job is to find out which tools, support, and guidance my students need to be successful.

I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2010, and my Masters of Fine Arts from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in 2015. While in school, I studied primarily sculpture, drawing, alternative processes and theory.

After receiving my MFA, I worked for the second time as a college admissions counselor. I recruited students for UNCG from 2010-2012 and for Moore College of Art & Design from 2015-2017. I advised students about the application process, required materials, scores, and grades, as well as advocate for student scholarship recipients. I ran the admissions side of the Summer Art & Design Institute. SADI is a college level summer program for high school women, whose main goals are to offer skill development, introduce critique as a way to learn, and portfolio preparation.

I was thrilled to then become the Therapeutic Arts Coordinator for Broad Street Ministry from 2017-2018. I personally ran the twice weekly Art Table and facilitated weekly dance, and poetry classes.

From 2018-2019 I had the wonderful expense of teaching technology integrated art to high schoolers. Unfortunately my program was running out of money so they had to let me go.

Since then I've been pet sitting and tutoring!
