Certified Tutor

My name is Sierra, and I have recently graduated with two Bachelors: one in Biology, and the other in Spanish. I also minored in Chemistry and Criminal Justice, and enjoy learning a variety of subjects. I absolutely love teaching and learning from other individuals at the same time. I realized my love for teaching at a young age whenever I painted a chalkboard in my room, kept the teachers editions textbooks at the end of the year, and sat my siblings down for summer school daily. I have also worked as a Teachers Assistant for my Chemistry professor and really enjoyed working with the students, and walking them through the steps. In addition, I have tutored numerous students in my free time in a variety of subjects (biology, chemistry, and Spanish are examples).

In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, creating music (both lyrics, and instrumental), and anything to do with outdoors and working out. I love to travel, and in the Summer of 2018 I took my second study abroad trip to South America for three months. During this trip, I was able to practice and enhance my Spanish skills, as well as, experience and learn from the different cultures of the four countries I visited (Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, and Peru).

On my lazy days, I enjoy binge watching Harry Potter movies and playing Kingdom Hearts.
