I'm passionate to teaching Spanish as a second language. I have a Bachelor degree in Journalism and social communications and I was working on it for over 14 years in my country, Venezuela.

Currently I'm studying a Master Degree in Universitat de Barcelona of Teaching Spanish as a Second Language. In Venezuela I learned some skills of teaching Spanish as a second language.

I started to teach Spanish when I was living in Ireland. I continued teaching in my country for tourists and online (some years ago). Those experience made me to learn more about my own language and what is the perspective from someone who isn't a Spanish speaker.

I know that some languages tend to be difficult to learn, but the idea is to make it easy for the student. Everybody has different ways of learning. The idea is the student can be able to communicate either oral or writing. Also, it is important to learn both listening and reading. I focus on developing each skill, but the priority depends on the needs of the student. I'm very patient for that but I also try to get the student get out of their comfort zone.

So, In my spear time, I enjoy reading and studying for my master, sometimes I watch some movies or series. Also I love cycling, swimming, dancing and constantly learning new things.
Visiting different countries, that make me more appreciate other cultures and mine, and that makes me become more tolerant and break stereotypes.

Learning a language can be fun If you don't know anything about Spanish, that is good. If you have some knowledge about espaol, tambin es bueno. Y si quieres conversar sobre algn tema en particular, pues Adelante! podemos trabajar juntos.
