Michael: Hamilton tutor
Certified Tutor
I have been tutoring high school and middle school students for more than 6 years, primarily through my school's National Honor Society. I am an incoming freshman at Stanford University, and my intended major is electrical engineering or computer science. I love helping students with learning and improving academically, whether it be for the ACT/SAT or a course at school. While I have experience in tutoring many subjects, my expertise is in mathematics, physics, economics, and ACT/SAT tutoring. As a tutor, I strongly support the Socratic method: using guiding questions to help the student find the answer or understand the concept. I am dedicated to helping students learn and understand new and challenging material, and I have patience to ensure that a student has fully grasped a concept before moving on. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing tennis and the clarinet.
