I have extensive and diverse experience as an educator. I have taught English, Government, and History at a university in China, and now teach ESL to Japanese students in the Columbus, Ohio area and substitute in local high schools. I am pursuing certification as a high school social studies teacher in the state of Ohio. I derive great personal and professional satisfaction from helping students improve their confidence and reach their goals. The "ah ha" moment on a student's face is the greatest reward I as a teacher can experience.
