I am a medical student at New York Medical College. I've worked in both research and teaching in the past and have an MS from Teachers College, Columbia University in Neuroscience and Education. I am passionate about science and teaching and have experience teaching and tutoring all levels of Spanish, Science and Math.
I enjoy working individually with students, understanding and learning the strategies that work best for each student. I incorporate visual and kinesthetic strategies, among others, to my teaching. My goal is for my students to discover which strategies work best for their learning and success, and for them to apply these strategies to become independent lifelong learners. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking and yoga.
