"All students have the ability to learn, but all teaching methods are not suitable for all students" in essence, this is my teaching philosophy and how I approach teaching and learning with my students. It is important to recognize the needs (i.e. emotionally, socially, learning styles, etc.) and individuality of each student. I believe in bringing in culturally relevant curricula, diversity/inclusivity/ equity in the classroom. All students deserve a learning environment that reflects them and the world around them. Ultimately, it is my job to facilitate an environment in which students feel free to prepared to learn.
