Certified Tutor

Teaching is my passion. Helping someone get to the "Aha" moment is my goal. Having taught all levels, and now teaching adults, I have a keen awareness that the learning begins with me: I need to understand where my students are and what they need.
I've taught Communication at Wharton (Univ of Penn), tutored a Ph.D candidate, worked with corporate professionals, and taught in public schools. I am a life-long learner (My philosophy is that one should never stop learning), so I'm tuned into the emotional part of learning on a personal level.
I like making and attaining goals. I'm a runner, and although I no longer compete in races, I set a daily goal to make every day that I run. Reaching that goal does a lot for my self-esteem. I like to use goals in teaching/learning as well.
