Through my film and theater work I have discovered a love for the moment when a discovery is made, when an idea clicks for someone, when they take a step forward and a world opens up to them. For me, tutoring is an extension of all my other passions in life. I volunteered with elementary students in high school, worked at a daycare, and I taught workshop classes for fellow college students. I learned quickly that teaching is most effective when I consider myself merely a conduit for someone else's discovery. I am a guide helping them piece the puzzle together for themselves.
