I am a post-graduate of the CUNY Graduate Center's CUNY Baccalaureate for Unique and Interdisciplinary Studies program. I designed my own major in: philosophy, psychology, linguistics and educational studies. I called my major Comparative Thought.
After graduating, I moved to Thailand where I completed an 120-Hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language Certificate, and then taught at an EFL summer camp, a language school and gave private lessons. I have since returned to the United States.
During college, I served on the student senate, where I focused on promoting and implementing interdisciplinary curriculum design. I am a great essay writer, and was accepted into all of the 11 colleges I applied to. I also studied abroad in Italy where I refined my Italian language skills. I am a musician and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School where I played guitar as well as the cello, and took music theory classes. Alongside LaGuardia, I studied at Manhattan School of Music and New York Jazz Academy, as well as taking years of private lessons.
Outside of school I love watching movies, biking and traveling. I'm easy going, easy to talk to, and love to share my knowledge with humor and warmth.
