Hi, my name is Jim Lowe and I work with my students to help them achieve success in what and how they communicate - academically, professionally or personally.
Communication issues may mean dealing with the fear of Public Speaking, or learning to write effective emails, to considering how to persuade someone to your point of view, or using your body language to reinforce your message.

I'll help you express your thoughts and ideas simply, joyfully tell your stories and experiences, and intelligently offer your opinions.
I can help you learn to communicate and get your ideas expressed in many areas - these include Presentation Development and Delivery, Public Speaking, Speech & Project Coaching, Business Writing, Academic Writing, Script Writing, and Project Reporting.
I am a Certified Master Trainer, Instructional Designer, and Performance Coach with an MA in Communications from Webster University and a BA in Psychology from Washington University. Combined with many years in the corporate communications world, I have found that there are many ways we can work together that will achieve your very best performance. People I have worked with tell me they have greatly improved their communications abilities by learning how to cut to the chase, listening to find what is most important, and acting with clarity and certainty.
My experience has resulted in learning to work easily with my clients, whether they were adults, students in high school, college and post-graduate programs.
I encourage them to understand that all communication deals with a person's relationship to their audience whether an audience of one or 100, written/verbal/online, social or academic or business.

Together we will work to help you address speaking with any size group, as well as improving interpersonal communications using tips and tools and carefully designed approaches, to meet your expectations. You will find stress reduced, comfort with your speaking tasks and satisfaction in your performance. Your learning will be tailored to meet your needs and preferences.
