Certified Tutor

I am a first grade teacher in South Carolina. I spend my days teaching sweet kiddos how to become great readers, authors, mathematicians, historians, scientists, citizens, and friends. The majority of my lessons are taught in small groups and one on one with children. When planning for lessons, I make sure to determine what the children know and what they need to know. I then determine the most effective way to teach each child. This differentiation is very important in the classroom as well as in a tutoring situation. I am excited to continue to help more children grow as learners.
