Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I received my Bachelor of Arts in History, with a minor in Music History. I have my Masters of Education, with a focus on teaching and leadership. Since graduation, I have been working as a history teacher; I have taught in London, Los Angeles, and currently teach in Philadelphia. I am a credentialed secondary school social studies teacher, and also hold my TEFL certificate for teaching English as a foreign language. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I have a passion for History! I am an advocate for the importance of education; I truly believe that every student can learn, and an education is the key to success in life. I love learning, and try to share this joy of education with all my students. I also believe that students are unique learners, and it is important to work with each individual student's strengths and needs to help them achieve success. In my spare time, I enjoy running, yoga, my monthly book club, and baking!
