Hi! I'm Kate. I am an Ivy-League graduate (University of Pennsylvania, class of 2016), and have been teaching/tutoring for many years.
A little about me, I was a part-time teacher/instructor at a company called the Netter Center. The company sold strategies for improving health sciences education to underprivileged Philly youth. I taught the standardized lessons to students and assisted with homework. Furthermore, I was also a mentor and tutor in Big Brothers Big Sisters. Through the program, I helped with homework, assisted with strategies for improving reading comprehension, and so much more. Since moving to New York, outside of my career as an actor, I've been tutoring individual students in Brooklyn, as well as coaching high school seniors with their college essays/applications.
My approach involves positive reinforcement and providing specific learning tools that work best for individual clients. I'm happy to help!
