Certified Tutor

Hello! I will be graduating in a few months with my Bachelors of Education in K-8 Elementary Education and K-12 Special Education. I will also have minors in K-12 Educational Technology and PreK-12 Reading. Through previous work experiences, I have worked many different jobs working with students of various ability levels. In addition, through my education, I have had a lot of experiences working with students. While I spent many hours in various classrooms, I also worked in a Children's Behavioral Facility working with students who have ADD/ADHD. I am very passionate about teaching and learning! In addition, I love technology, and will almost always find a way to implement technology into learning. I believe this helps make learning more engaging and also helps prepare students for the future. I am very organized and have great communication skills. In addition, I am very strong willed and will not give up! If a student seems to be struggling to understand a concept I am explaining, I will approach it from a different angle and will continue explaining the concepts in various ways until the student fully understands each concept! Outside of tutoring and teaching, I enjoy playing the piano, learning about new educational technology tools, crafting, and traveling with my family and boyfriend!
