I currently have a bachelor's degree in both Spanish and Biology, which I received at Lebanon Valley College of Pennsylvania. While attending college I had the opportunity to study abroad in Salamanca, Spain for a semester. For over 10 years I have been teaching Spanish at the middle school level. I have traveled to several Spanish speaking countries, where I have often been complemented on my ability to speak Spanish.

While I love teaching Spanish in a classroom setting, on a one to one basis I also enjoy assisting students in various levels of math. A math problem is like a puzzle that needs to be solved. I enjoy aiding students to understand concepts that they continue to apply as they progress in their math courses. I try to break complex topics into simpler concepts. My experience has made me familiar with common mistakes students make and I point them out to students that these are something to be aware of and avoid.

Outside of teaching I love traveling. In addition to Spanish speaking countries, I have been all over Europe. I tried to go somewhere new every summer. I'm also a huge film buff. For me, the Oscars are my Super Bowl!
