Certified Tutor

Tutoring is something I am passionate about and if you choose me as a tutor- it will shine through immediately! While I have years of experience tutoring high school students in chemistry, math, and writing during my undergraduate education, I also have insight into the NYC school system, having attended the NYC Lab School and the Bronx High School of Science. I vividly remember what it is like to go through a rigorous academic education where you constantly have to prioritize school work, extracurricular activities, standardized testing, a social life... and the constant difficulties of just being a high school student!

I have a Masters in Chemistry and much experience tutoring chemistry and math at both middle and high school levels. During my undergrad, I worked at a high school with many disadvantaged students coming from a wide range of backgrounds. I have had experience working with some of the brightest students who are looking to excel and improve as well as experience with students who wish to never look at a chemistry or math textbook again! In both cases, we develop personalized plans to improve in the way that they want to meet their goals and I continue to motivate them to raise the bar.
