I am currently a student at the University of St. Thomas pursing a B.A in biology and a minor in general business. I am also on a Pre-Medical track with hopes of applying to medical school this Spring (2018).
I currently volunteer at the Houston Animal Shelter and have a passion for working with animals. I have some prior tutoring experience with high schoolers. I enjoy working with high schoolers because they are eager to learn something fast and efficiently but I am ready to work with all ages. I am most passionate about science, essay writing and business subjects. I excel in coming up with creative ideas and mnemonics to teach students the material. I have a super friendly and easy going personality that allows students to build trust, ask questions and begin to start answering more of their own questions. I am always my students biggest cheerleader- always promoting and encouraging students to understand the material in a way that is interesting to them and what they need to accomplish. My hobbies include riding horses, playing with my dog, pilates, cooking, and volunteering and I really love helping students!
