My first experience with tutoring was as an undergraduate at University of Maryland where I tutored younger physics students. I really enjoyed working through tough problems with them, and the "Ah ha" moment was always very satisfying to witness. I also have two years experience teaching physics as a Teacher's Assistant. I'm transitioning between graduate programs in physics, where I've done work in computational condensed matter physics.
I am very passionate about learning about physics and math. Strangely, one of my favorite things to do is to read interesting textbooks and try to tackle tough problems. I have over a decade (too long) of experience with problem solving in physics and math. Apart from academics, I enjoy playing guitar (mostly classical, but some electric) and hiking/running.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you step by step toward success in your physics or math courses!
