I am a freelance writer, multi-time published author, and history enthusiast who believes strongly in, and is committed to, giving back to society, including through tutoring and mentoring young people. I am an enthusiastic and caring teacher who thinks creatively and works with each student on a customized and individualized basis. I strive, for students, to make words, writing, language, and history come alive and be vibrant. I strive to help and steward each student to become fully engaged in learning, and to understand the importance of each lesson for its academic merit, and for growing intellectually and expanding one's cultural horizons. I am a graduate of Boston College, where i was a scholarship middle distance runner for the Eagle track & field team. I live in the Boston area, in the town of Easton, which is located about halfway between Boston and Providence.
