Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where I received my Bachelor's of Liberal Arts with a dual focus in psychology/neuroscience and writing. Since graduation I have worked at a literary agency, co-written and edited articles which have appeared on PsychologyToday.com, and tutored children of recent immigrants in Massachusetts in grades K-12, and private clients one-on-one in Manhattan.

While I tutor a broad range of subjects, my main areas of expertise are English, History, Literature, Biology, and the Political Sciences. I find the greatest fulfillment in guiding students to achieve an ease of excellence that enables them to both excel in academic settings, and experience the subjects as genuinely enjoyable. I firmly believe in the capacity of all students to suceed, and have seen incredible advances in exams and test scores when their confidence rises to meet fresh competence.

When not tutoring I am reading, writing, singing, and performing throughout the New York area as a professional belly dancer.
