My goal as an educator is to prepare students for academic success in science. I have taught high school level science for 5 years and I am certified to teach all sciences. I have an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and a graduate degree in secondary education in biology.
As an educator at my current school, I have served and continue to serve as the science department chair, a member of Digital Leadership Corp, a mentor to both students and teachers, and I sponsor the Environmental Science Club and Outdoor Club.
Outside of school I enjoy yoga, running, hiking, reading, and tennis.
