Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from Georgetown University, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics with a minor in Music. I'm currently pursuing a Master's of Science in Business Analytics at Carnegie Mellon University. I've been tutoring since I started high school, focusing on mathematics and writing. Throughout my college career I was employed both privately and by Georgetown University to tutor peers and high school students in the Washington, D.C. area. I worked with students taking classes in all levels of mathematics falling under Algebra, Calculus, Combinatorics, and Problem Solving.

I've always been passionate about mathematics. With a strong academic background in English and writing, I communicate abstract mathematical ideas in a way that is best suited to each of my students' needs. At some point in the (hopefully) near future, I'd like to go to back to school in order to then work full-time as a college professor of mathematics.

Aside from academics, I'm passionate about music and soccer. I've been a guitarist for most of my life, and am eager to pick up and learn about any instrument I can get my hands on. I've also played soccer for about as long as I can remember. Most recently, I play in pickup leagues around Pittsburgh. In college, I was fortunate enough to captain the Georgetown University Men's Club Soccer team for two years.
