I have numerous years of experience in guiding and educating high school and middle school students in civic engagement. I want to help students realize their full potential, even when subjects seem bleak or if external factors get in the way of their success. The best way to help a student become an independent learner is by providing positive feedback and encouragement for failures and successes. These tactics help a student become more confident in doing the coursework, but also empowers them to want to succeed. Their goals for success and doing the work become intrinsic with a positive and supportive environment.
