Certified Tutor
I am currently a Freshman majoring in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Johns Hopkins University. Before attending the university, I went to a high school in Illinois called the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy. There, I served as a Residential Hall Tutor, where I would serve shifts every day and help students in my residential hall who needed help on their homework or help studying for tests. In addition, I was a part of the school's PROMISE program that helped to foster interest in math and science among underprivileged and economically disadvantaged middle school students. I developed and taught curriculum to a group of 20 students.
Throughout my tutoring experience, I have enjoyed tutoring math and chemistry the most. In fact, I loved it so much that I chose to pursue a major requiring chemistry.
Outside of academics, I like to work out, play basketball, watch tv (especially the Marvel tv series on Netflix), and play video games.
