I am a hardworking and dedicated individual who enjoys learning for the unadulterated sake of learning. It would be an honor to help you or your child love learning as much as I do.
I am originally from Los Angeles, but I moved to rural Pennsylvania for college. I fell in love with the east coast after my first fall season.
I recently graduated from Bucknell University, Summa Cum Laude, with a final GPA of 3.93. I pursued 3 majors: English, History, and Spanish, and was the President of Bucknell Student Government from 2015 to 2016. I worked in the Bucknell Writing Center, where I received formal education and instruction in tutoring and mentorship.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that teaching should be catered to the needs of the student. There is no effective cookie-cutter method because each person learns in a distinct way.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would try to help the student be comfortable with me. The best learning occurs when the student is at ease.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
My goal is to instill confidence in the student because that is where true progress is most evident.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
I would try to find a nexus between the student's interests and the area of concern. There is always a way to connect something that seems daunting with something that a student is familiar with.
